The introduction text when meeting the cursed hounds reads really weird.

It should be more like this (warning, I am no native English speaker):

A few bright eyes are watching you, full of anger.
(the second sentence i can not understand)
Slowly, the source of the sound is revealed to you and an escape is impossible (rewrote this sentence a bit so it applies to a single and to a group of hounds).
All your valuables begin to glow, reflecting the greed of these demonic beings.

Your valuables are now glowing in the dark, seemingly reflecting the avarice of this demonic creature.
