Exploring (points to Gaulen)

Not quite certain what putting points into exploration accomplishes with Gaulen. Is it finding food, herbs, and money that we see in the pop up windows?

As an aside:
Keys to Mergante's Tomb and Thondraw's Tomb have stayed in inventory. Found them after picking lock to enter tomb. Revisited tomb later but keys stayed.

Hi Haldana,

The Exploration skill only affects to the visibility radius of the avatar. Every point add one cell to the radius. You can see more of the map with less walking (and saving some food).

For finding food and herbs it is used the Knowledge of Herbs sill.
For finding hidden treasures it is used the perception.

About the keys, yes if you don't use them they remain in the inventory. We have to increase the difficulty for unlocking doors whose level is much more higher than the party.

Exploring is a worksite-based program of Learning for Life, a subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America, for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old. Exploring units, called "posts", usually have a focus on a single career field, such as police, fire/rescue, health, law, aviation, engineering, or the like, and may be sponsored by a government or business entity. Prior to the late 1990s, the Exploring program was the main BSA program for older youth and included posts with an emphasis on outdoor activities, which are now part of the Venturing program.
