Temple of Valvet

Hello.
I reached the tower of Valvet but am stuck by a magic barrier preventing me from entering, even though I had the key to get in.
The message says all the other temples are not free of corruption, yet I killed all of Yul's heralds, so what am I missing?
Must I find some hidden altar in some of the temples? I went through each of them again and didn't find anything I would have missed.
Or run in each temple until I have killed all randomly appearing monsters? Or am I missing something else?

I must say this is very frustrating. I feel as if the game told me "you have missed one thing somewhere, please try from scratch again".

Apparently I mut throw Nalaet's tears in the wells in order for the barrier to be removed.
